The Tanzanian Government requires Citizens of most countries to obtain a valid visa to enter the country. The Consulate General determines the duration of stay upon receiving an application.
Tourist Visa
Your Tanzania tourist visa will make you eligible to visit Tanzania for no longer than 3 months or 6 months (depending on the application made), with single and multiple entry options available. Additionally, the Tanzania tourist visa does not allow the visa holder to engage in any kind of Tanzanian employment during their stay.
Business Visa
Your Tanzania business visa will make you eligible to visit Tanzania for no longer than 3 months or 6 months (depending on the application made), with single and multiple entry options available. The Tanzania business visa grants holders the right to attend meetings, conferences and other business-related activities.  However, the holder may not seek employment in any capacity during their time in Tanzania.
